Happy New Year!

It’s been quite a year here at Living DNA HQ. We've worked hard on loads of new developments, and we’re really looking forward to bringing you more exciting new features and products in 2024.

Let’s take a look at some of our personal highlights of the last 12 months.

Chromosome Browser

Our top highlight of the year was releasing our Chromosome Browser. We’ve made establishing how you are related to a match easier than ever before, and we’ve had such positive feedback from the Living DNA community.

We’re looking forward to adding more tools in 2024.

Living DNA Health

Using finger-prick blood tests, we can now provide our UK-based customers with valuable insights to proactively track and manage their health. The positive impact this has had on individuals taking a more informed approach to their health and wellbeing has been truly inspiring.

If you’re outside of the UK, we can now use your DNA to give you even more insights into how your genetics might be influencing your health.

Our team’s favourite from the new Health products is the Allergy Insight test.

Portal Updates and Redesign

We’ve heard your feedback about the portal. It had been neglected for some time, sidelined as we worked to bring you new and exciting tests and insights.

Towards the end of 2023 we have been busy making improvements, as we work on redesigning the way we present your ancestry results. We have given several areas a freshen up, and have added some more information at the same time as making it easier to find details that may previously have been hidden or hard to find elsewhere.

Book PDFs

It’s been a requested feature for some time, and now we’ve brought it to life!

Very recently we released the option to purchase a PDF copy of your results at a much lower cost than the printed hardcover book of results. You can find this in your portal alongside your ancestry results.

So what’s next?

The question on everyone’s lips: After a busy year, what’s next for Living DNA?

We’re following the amazing releases of 2023 with a combination of new products and services, some we can let you know about, but some are Top Secret!

We will continue to update and refresh areas of the portal, and we have some new tools for Family Matching in the works.

Keep your eyes peeled for an announcement about a new product coming soon in the year MMXXIV! We can’t reveal the details just yet, it’s securely wrapped up, but it will be an exciting addition to your DNA odyssey.
